Ten people have been injured, four of them seriously, after a lightning strike during a thunderstorm in Dresden.
The bolt struck the city's Elbufer promenade early this evening, causing multiple casualties.
Police have cordoned off the area around the Rosengarten, a popular park and tourist attraction, while emergency services attend to the victims.
The condition of the four seriously injured people is not yet known.
